Call Homestead Museum is a great place to learn about the history of the area and see some interesting old-timey farm equipment. The museum has a collection of rural implements from the 19th and 20th centuries, including a dog-powered butter churn.
It also houses Philip Webb’s original Civil War discharge papers, other Civil War relics, items made during Civil War times, household furniture, and other neat things. The museum also has collections of local pottery, artwork, heirlooms, and some unique collections on the Genealogy arm.
